Darwin Livery Revealed
Walkinshaw Andretti United has today revealed the three SuperCars Indigenous Round liveries the Team will run at the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown this weekend.
WAU #27 driver Jayden Ojeda will be making his second solo Repco Supercars Championship wildcard appearance at Darwin.
Jayden’s Holden ZB Commodore Indigenous Round livery was designed by Rhonda Sampson, in partnership with the KARI Foundation.
“I’m really excited to reveal my indigenous livery, designed by Rhonda Sampson,” said Ojeda. “This is my first time in Darwin, and I am proud to be part of the first ever official SuperCars Indigenous Round, it’s a special event”.
The car looks amazing, Rhonda has created a brilliant design with an important message” he added.
The East Coast Lubes #27’s artwork, “Community, Culture and Connection,” is a visual representation of the KARI Foundation and all their partners commitment to showcase Aboriginal excellence through the shared vision, mission, and values of the KARI Foundation. www.kari.org.au
Rhonda Sampson is a proud Kamilaroi woman who lives on Dharawal country in South Western Sydney. Art is central to Rhonda’s cultural identity, and she is passionate about sharing this with all people, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous so they can come together on the journey of understanding Aboriginal culture, stories and identity.
All 27 cars and drivers gathered on the pit straight today as they prepare to recognise First Nations people. All cars will carry Indigenous-themed liveries, each with different stories behind the art.

Jayden will sport backing from East Coast Lubes and Mobil 1 at the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown.
The #27 Holden Commodore will also carry support from Morris, New Age Caravans, Walkinshaw Performance, City Hino, Johnny H Adventures, Metropole, Vantage Freight, Criticool Services, AJM Transport, and UMS.
