Western Sydney University recognises Jayden as Elite Athlete
Jayden Ojeda has recently been accepted for recognition as a member of the Elite Athlete Program at Western Sydney University for 2018, where Jayden is studying a double degree in Business and Communication.
As an Elite Athlete, Western Sydney University has signed a contract with the Australian Sports Commission to provide assistance for Jayden’s academic studies through the Elite Athlete Support and Assistance Program (EASAP).
As a member of the Australian Institute of Sport’s (AIS) Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) program, Western Sydney University is committed to supporting Jayden’s endeavours to combine study and elite motorsport and will do everything it can to assist Jayden achieving his sporting and academic goals.
As a result of this, Jayden gains assistance with timetable planning and integrated scheduling of sport and study, as assistance to allow him to fit in studies with testing, training commitments and race meetings.
Jayden also gets access to partnership programs with various Western Sydney University Schools and Departments such as Sport and Exercise Science, and possible access to additional financial support to assist in covering costs associated with elite level competitions.
