Jayden Ojeda recruited into Tigani Motorsport Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia program.
Fresh off the back of his back-to-back Bathurst 6 Hour win, Jayden Ojeda is excited to announce that he has been recruited to join Tigani Motorsport’s Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia campaign.
The Sydney-based racer will join Paul Lucchitti as one of three entries in the series from the Wollongong-based squad.
Ojeda will add his recent international experience with Mercedes AMG GT3 to Lucchitti’s campaign, with the gentlemen racer making the step up from Trophy Class with a full-season campaign in Pro Am in 2024.
“I’m looking forward to furthering my GT development here in Australia with Paul Luchitti and Tigani Motorsport.” said Ojeda.
“I’ve really enjoyed where GT racing has taken me so far and I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish together as a team throughout the year.”
“Paul is seriously committed to his driving and all aspects of improving his driving, which makes working with him such an enjoyable experience.”
“I’ve had a lot of experience as of late in a Mercedes GT3 so I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learnt into the program and ensure we put our best foot forward.”
Ojeda’s recent GT experience includes starts in Asian Le Mans Series and Bathurst 12 Hour with Craft Bamboo Racing and competing in the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Young Driver Test. As well as competing in last year's Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia with Volante Rosso.
“I’ve really enjoyed the international GT scene with Asian Le Mans at the end of last year and the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour alongside Craft Bamboo Racing was an awesome experience for me.” Ojeda continued
“I continue to push and further that side of my career while keeping myself busy in Australia it’s all positive for me.”
“I really like the way Paul goes about his racing, he’s very measured and calculated, which is good to see from someone fairly fresh in the sport. I think he’ll develop throughout the year and get stronger no doubt about it.”
“He’s committed with testing, which is great as between Paul and Nathan, they’ve put together an awesome program to grow the team over the past couple of years. It’s good for Tigani Motorsport to have a Pro-Am entry as well for the full-season.”
“For me, if I’m driving a lot I feel like I’m at my best. To come off the back of a Bathurst 6 Hour win, you do a fair few miles and to drive really, really well was a big confidence boost for the rest of the regular calendar year of racing. It puts me in good stead to continue the momentum.”

The opening round of the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season will be held at Phillip Island on April 12-14 as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries
